I remember seeing some really good drawing of them too when they were trying to decide what to put on one of the nickels. I used to have a screen saver of a submarine that broke through the ice (probably in OldDans back yard) and three polar bears were checking it out and seemed a bit confused about the whole thing. Guess they thought they had food for the rest of winter--hey man we just gotta bat this sucker over the head a few times and drag it out the water. Actually no other animal COMMANDS the repect of the old pole cat and he/she has never been chosen to represent the good in anything or state! At least the possum gets a few jokes now and then!
