Hi, as per the image I have pink spotting on my 1oz gold buffalo, is this common? does it effect its value? or ability to resell?

I feel fairly certain that it will affect the value of the coin as 'perfect' coins are always worth the most. How much? I really couldn't say but the best places to find out auction sites. Check for SOLD prices.

Oh, man, that is so bad to have a beautiful coin get such ugly spots.

There isn't really much that could be done, unless a light touch of pure acetone might make it go away since it is gold.

Yes - it will most definitely impact the value. As it is now, I'm guessing the only collectors that would buy it would be those hoping to purchase it at close to spot price and get lucky in being able to clean off those spots.
