I see they go for over $200.00 in ag3 at some online dealers.
I have one but it is acid treated.
Is it worthless or does it have some value.

The 13-S is always one of the toughest to find for a set. There are a goodly number of folks who collect without too much thought to condition. They are just trying to fill the holes, which, if they enjoy that, is perfectly fine.

For those few who will take just about anything to fill a hole, you might find a buyer, but those same buyers are also extremely frugal with their purchase prices.

It would be easier to give you a possible number if you show photos of what you have.

Without those, it's nearly impossible to give you an actual selling value, beyond maybe $10-$15 for a acid treated example.

Checking ebay, acid treated type two have sold for a very wide range from $22 to $70. But the upper end of that scale shows a lot of remaining detail on the design elements other than the date.

You should be able to match about what your coin looks like to all of those that sold to get a better idea of where you fall in that $22-$70 price range.

You can get one in VF condition these days for $300. Why fool around with an acid dipped coin? I see the 21-S and 26-S going for more in VF to EF condition than the 13-S type 2. A 1921-S in superfine condition is a consummation devoutly to be wished. I think a collector can put together a pretty decent set of VF to EF buffalo's for a fraction of what it takes to do many other coins with much less appeal. If you put together a really nice set this is something you could pass onto your grandchildren and it would most likely gain in value every year.
