Long story short, I was going through circulated wheat cents that I bought from auction and this kind of error came up. What is this error called or is it man made? Thank you.

Does this kind of error add some sort of premium to value of this coin? Or atleast is this desirable error for people who collect error coins?

Depending on the collector. This one is large enough, there maybe an error collector that may want it. (as is the case on most error coins, the more it is catches the eye, the more interest will be shown.

What is the weight? If it is light it might be a lamination? If it is normal, then a Struck Through Grease error? I'm seeing a hint of ghosting on some areas of the reverse.

If this coin was struck through a solid/rigid object would you expect the obverse strike to be effected somehow? I imagine there wouldn't be enough pressure applied to the obverse strike and the bust would be poorly formed. Is that a correct assumption? If so, the strike through object must have been something soft/pliable, like grease, paper, cloth, etc.
