It's easy to tell they know they have a sucker....I get these coins all the time now ! Along with the Peace dollar in the main forum, Ed put this coin into my hand early this week, and of course I had to have it.

For your scrutiny, a circulated coin , with a nice die crack on the reverse...dated 1900-O and brought to you from....the Die Crack Zone...

Rod Serling...You listening ? Wow..it must be getting late. On to the coin.

Since I have looked at literally thousands of coins the past few weeks, I have had precious little to look at my own coins, so the VAM will have to come later, if anything sticks out to you, suggestions are always welcome and they help to narrow the search !

II, circulated coins are hard to attibute when not in hand. It looks to have a near slanted date with high O mm slightly tilted right. Since LeRoy seems to have used date placement as the major attibute on this series the die crack may not have been mentioned. Hope this gives you a starting point.
p.s. This is the type of coin I would send in. Very noticeable die break.

Send to whom MorgansRmine ? just to clarify if you are referring to a TPG or maybe VAMworld. I have not looked at anything there yet for this coin, I have a 1878 7 over 8 tail feathers that is holding preference to attribution right now...that one will be here later. Thanks for the comments, I am sure they will help when I get around to it.

Nice cracks, I always like nice looking breaks like this one. Post the variety when you find it.
