Hi All, Haven't been on the forum much because of illness and boy do I miss my coin hobby. But, yesterday I was going through my old jewelry box and found this 1921-S Morgan. Boy was I thrilled to see it. So this evening I took some time to look up the VAM's for this year. It appears to be VAM-6A and if so is it really a Hit 40? Looking for confirmation on this please. Also, any help with Grade a Value would be appreciated. I know my pictures are not the best - but here they are. Any and all input is really appreciated. Thanks a bunch. Fantastic News - my first coin on any "top" list. Thanks Cross-eyed.
I forgot to put in that this one weighs in at 26.70 - just a tad under standard 26.73.

Looks EF-40, maybe 45, and perhaps polished.

Thanks coinfrog, I'll have to look into the polishing possibility, I have had this for probably 20 years now in that old Jewelry box way before my hobby days. There should be way to figure it out.
WOW you are almost at the 10000 mark. Congrats and thanks for helping out so much.

The reverse especially shows an oddly bright reflection for a coin with this apparent wear.

Thanks uruman.
Coinfrog, I had taken these after dark yesterday so I had to have the flash on, just looking at it in hand it does not have that reflection you mentioned. But, then again I really don't know much in this area. I will take a couple more shots in the daylight tomorrow and post them.
I would like to know either way. It is incredible how you all can see what you do from photos - it really is an amazing skill.
I am only into this hobby for about a year and just don't have the knowledge base of a lot of these things. One of the first things I was told here on the forum was never to clean a coin.

I don't know if these pictures are any better. As uruman & Dustin know - I am just horrible at pictures. Thank for your time and assistance. My main reason for the post was to confirm the VAM-6A having a grade for it is just a bonus. I realize that they are not worth that much.
