machine doubling?this is what I think.i think there is a page in the cpg about the types of doublings out there.

Yep. Machine Doubling.
Granpa, there appears to be a raised mark near the mintmark towards the bottom right of it.. Is it a raised mark? If it is would post a pic of that? It might be interesting!

Grampa, it looks like MD and there is a good clue besides how it looks. The MM is put on after the die has been hubbed. It is during the hubbing that any DD images are conveyed to the die. The MM is not present during this process. Since the MM shows the same doubling as the date, it has to be Machine Doubling, or applied while the coin was being struck. At least this is how I understand it.

Can you imagine how I would have felt if this had been that pretty DDO worth $600 in PR63 on coppercoin's website? I would have cried for hours LOL
