Mysterious Afghan Medieval? Islamic Coin-Please Help Id!

svnhson Valued Member United States 102 Posts	Posted 12/21/2016 02:43 am Hi everyone, I acquired this coin today from a flea market and have had trouble identifying it. According to the sleeve it came in, it is from the city of Herat, in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and dates to around 1100 A.D. I haven't been able to find out anything else about it or even any coins of the same type for sale, so I would love to know more about it (i.e. what empire it came from and the actual date).
