I received this coin as a gift. The holder says "Constantine the Great Era." It is slightly smaller than an Roosevelt dime. Can someone help with more precision? I would like to know what the lettering might be, and what images are on the obverse and reverse. I'm grateful for any suggestions, or where I might begin to research this.

The CAD on the obverse may suggest Arcadius. I recommend posting on the Ancients/Medieval board to get the attention of the Roman experts there.

I agree, it is Arcadius. If you soak the coin in some olive oil it should remove most of the dirt.
