I picked this up in an inexpensive coin/token lot on ebay. I can;t find anything on it. Although cell phone pics, they actually look as good as the coin does to the naked eye. Can make out a few individual letters and maybe a number or two, but having no real luck. Happy hunting!

I have to look for my digital scale. Sorry, I should have been more prepared.

As for size, it is a "hair" larger than a Jefferson nickel. Perhaps a millimeter or slightly less than a mm. It is very thin, about half as thick as a Jefferson nickel, maybe sightly less than half as thick.

It is very light weight. I will try and find my digital scale tomorrow and weigh it. It is still packed away with my office stuff from when I retired last year...

Arcade token, If the lettering is a company name it is a variety of generic style token all most every maker of tokens has had at least one or more styles patterned after a US coin type.

Have to clarify Circus's identification.

It is much older than an arcade token. The design imitates gold coins circulating in the old West in the 1850s, 60s and 70s.

On the obverse at the 6:00 position to my eye it looks like "S. Marke" or "Sp. Marke" which is short for spiel marke or play money essentially a gaming token.

Here's a similar one that was listed on ebay 221524155195

Ahhh...no wonder I can't find anything on it. It looks like it MAY have a 1920 something date, but I'm not sure. The lettering on the front looks like "St. Macke" or something close to that. Thanks!

Your eye sight are way better than mine or you have an extra high def screen Couldn't make anything out. If it does have either of those on it I agree. AS a for runner of the arcade tokens of the same design

I copied and pasted the picture into Excel so I could orient the obverse image correctly once I did that I thought I could see those letters. Used ebay to try and confirm my hunch.
