This particular token is much sought after, and subsequently heavily forged.
I've never seen a real one, few people have, but yours looks good enough to have checked out by experts. Where you find those, is anybody's guess.

It's also thought of by some as a fantasy, mimicking as it does the other Alger Maison Close token Maison Jouany, Au Chat Noir. Neither have contemporary evidence proving their existence
