I came across this LMC and I don't know where to even begin. I see gas bubbles, die cracks, doubling,.....Seems like they decided to put everything that can wrong into one coin.

If it is Die Deterioration, it is hard to think that they let the die strike coins in this condition. If it is damage, how was it even done?

You are right; there is lots of crazy stuff on it.

Worn and partly filled die, with post mint crushing is a vise or similar. Some minor corrosion as well, along with an honest amount of circulation wear.

I really feel sorry for that poor coin.

I also thought that somebody may have squeezed the coin but what intrigue me is the fact that the letters in "United" are so uneven that surprises me that he could've been done In a vise. Also the die chips left on the rim and date seems to extreme
Rest in Peace

And a lot of these early zincolns you'll see the devices start to rot from the center out. Then the centers look kind of sunken in and a lip forms on the edges of the devices. In the beginning stages it gets mistaken for doubling a lot of times

Looks a lot like a Dryer Coin.
