1914-D Lincoln Cent / Money Jar Contest!

Here's a little contest to start off the New Year!

How to Play:

In a reply to this post, guess the total face value, in U.S. dollars and cents, of the coins in my wife's money jar:



How to Win:

The person whose guess is closest to the amount of money in the jar wins this 1914-D Lincoln Cent:



In the event of a tie, the person who first submitted the winning guess is declared the winner.

Bonus Prize:

If you manage to win by guessing the exact amount of money in the jar, I'll throw in this 1909 Liberty nickel as a bonus:



Deadline for submissions is Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:59 PM EST. Winner will be announced Sunday, January 8, 2017.

Other Rules and Whatnot:

You must have 50 posts and be a member for a minimum of 14 days to submit a guess.
You must have a shipping address in the U.S. to receive your prize.
You may submit one guess per day but only your last guess will be counted; all of your previous guesses will be disregarded.
Submitting more than one guess per day or editing a reply disqualifies you from the contest.
