Hello,

I was just passed down some older coins from a relative and I was able to identify them all except for one. This actually may be some sort of token but unfortunately has no date (please see attached pics). Any help identifying it is appreciated, I'm much more interested in the identification and history of the coin than value. I've been scouring the internet for a few weeks now and have not come up with anything. Thanks.

Maybe it could be a game counter.

@pRhines, first welcome to CCF. Second, that may be spiel marke (play money) as omegaraptor mentioned. This subject has been discussed here a few times in the past. Here is one prior thread, with mention of a book cataloging these items.

Outside chance of it being a California fractional (although 1 wouldn't be fractional) or a copy thereof.

I'm more inclined to agree with this as a game token.

Regardless it still is a very neat token. There is no telling how many people have touched it, maybe even Wyatt Earp. :)
