Hi there !
I am a new member looking for help to identify these two coins. I haven't got a clue where they originate from. All I can see on them is the date (1821 and 1827).
Thanks in advance !

Are they the same on the other side? If not, photos of those other sides might be helpful, and...

I think that they could be coin weights for Portuguese coins. If you can weigh them we may be able to identify them further.

Portuguese India?

I would be wary of counterfeits; genuine pieces are pricy and of crude manufacture, thus very easy and worthwhile to fake.

I was also thinking Portuguese India. I could not find any similar coins dated 1821, so is it possible the first one is also dated 1827? The second one is most likely 5 bazarucos (here and here), while the first would either be 10 (link above) or 20 bazarucos (here).

A very good call Joseph & Finn, I'd forgotten the base metal coinage

Hello everyone!
First let me thank all of you for your kind and swift reply to my query!
In order to make a step further here are other pictures of my two coins.
The first one is the bigger one with a diameter of approx. 36mm and a weight of 15.9 grammes.
The smaller one has a diameter of 20mm and weighs 4.4 grammes and you were right suggested they both date from 1827!
