Die chips and it looks like the "S" MM was applied to the die upside down? If nothing else maybe got flat from a hit in circulation!

Neat pair of die chips on LIBERTY. I'm not sure I see anything on the date or mint mark.

Looks like a dead on match for LDB4-1955S-001 EXCEPT for the break between the I and B. I also checked The Classification And Value of Errors On The Lincoln Cent by Jean Cohen and found no match there either. JC should chime in on this one. Pretty cool find.
