Need Help With 1914 S St. Gaudens Double Mint Mark

shawncoins New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/04/2017 4:33 pm I have just bought a 1914 S ST. Gaudens and it has a double struck "S". Has anyone seen one or heard of one before? BH1964 Bedrock of the Community United States 10982 Posts	Posted 01/04/2017 5:34 pm Is the second S below the date? That is the designer's initials and can look like an S. The S above the date is the mintmark and is very small, it would be difficult to see Machine Doubling without a 10X glass. ANA #R3154474 Report this Post to the Staff
