My first foray into republic coinage. I really like the city goddess with turreted head. I was drawn to this one because the turreted heads on the later Roman bronzes are just about indistinguishable as such, and it is nice to see clearly what was being reflected in the design.

Very nice example. Congrats. Republican denarius are interesting especially that they were only struck for one year. This coin is from 83 BC.

very nice and interesting coin , it is CR356/1a , Furia20 .In his function of aedilis curulis he had the care of the citywalls , so on his coin is the symbol of Rome : a turreted head of Rome .
Hereby the article of curulis aedilis in 'A Dictionary of Roman coins . albert

you are right , it is Furia 19 ,Cr356/1c : the mention in Crawford :

The foot is for Crassipes meaning fatfoot : crassus : fat,thick and pes : foot.albert
