Sorry like my name says I am a n006 ( new to this lol )
I have a 1964 Lincoln Cent, which appears to have double die on the "s" in states on the reverse? Any help is appreciated

Looks like coin contact to me. The doubled die is thicker on the devices.

When looking at your coin, the devices are normal in size with a contact mark. To be from this die, it would have to have all the doubling just like these images shows. Hope this helps.

WOW! you guys rock, I thought I'd have to wait for a reply. I am new to this so I do appreciate the help. PMD (Post-Mint Damage) is a new phrase to me so looks like I learned something already. Thanks again!
