The first might be a small strike through on the cheek,Then a blob ( die chip) in the top portion of the 9,Finally a line inside the top portion of the 5. Thanks for any advice. CoinCents Pillar of the Community United States 3656 Posts	Posted 01/08/2017 1:40 pm Definitely nailed it on the die chip in the 9, I think the line in the top of the 5 could be from a Die crack, die gouge - sometimes it is just an extra piece of copper that gets wedged in and then worn. On the cheek I think that is from taking a hit. I am not the best at strike through's but as you know many more will be here to help. Report this Post to the Staff

The mark on the jaw is a continuing coin scratch from the fields.
