Hope you don't mind...can't resist messing with the pics so we can see them without clicking on a link - especially for grading.

This is a really beautiful strike for a New Orleans. Sorry to see the hits on the cheek. Looks like it came from the edge of another coin. Without that, I see a strong MS63-64. With that, I have to say MS61 or 62. She has a gorgeous proof-like quality to her, too.

I love her a lot!

PL or PQ are added to the normal MS grade, as in "MS64 PL" or MS64 PQ". It depends upon which grading service. These terms are similar to the DCAM (Deep Cameo), CAM (Cameo), etc.

I like it about as much as Susanlynn9 - call it MS62PL, although I'd like to see the reflectivity in real life. ANACS would probbaly call it MS61, but they grade Morgans the old-fashioned way - for the grade, not for the market.

OK, Rick, I'll be nice to you this time and give you an MS-62 for the reasons stated by Susan above. Those cheek marks are gonna drag it down a little, perhaps unfairly so since it has beautiful luster. I also think it might reach PL level. Was this cracked out of a GSA holder?

Oh, yes, in answer to your topic title, I'll go along with your request and tell you I love you! (But don't go anyplace with this. )

Hi Guys !!!

This coin was not a crack out that I'm aware of < it was bought raw, The lines on the cheek that look like digs are really just scratches in the frosted detail of the cheek, the only real ding is on the nose.

The reflective surfaces are about six to seven inches on the obverse, an easy eight on the reverse.

This coin is really much prettier in hand than I can make the pics relay.

You all know I dont collect Morgans, at this point I cant even explain buying it .

Fred, well just Fred !!!

Thanks for the replies.

Rick
