Tryna Pillar of the Community United States 937 Posts	Posted 01/10/2017 12:53 pm I am looking to pick up some ancient coins as a counterpoint to my main collection. In this endeavor I have been causally perusing ancients on ebay. I have noticed that there are a fair amount of coins, such as several this seller has, that look like they were made by Pine Tree Castings*. I have seen some far worse looking than these . So my question is in two parts.. Is this coin authentic? Was Investment Casting used to make ancient bronze and/or silver coins?
