Need Help Identifying Possible 11th Century Chinese Coin

Lembafc Valued Member Korea, Republic Of 489 Posts	Posted 01/12/2017 7:17 pm Experts, below are pictures of a coin I picked up here in Korea. It is a Chinese coin that was found in a huge Sang Pyeong Tong Bo lot. I am no expert in Chinese, but the best I could make out of it is "Yuan Dao Tong Bao". I was hoping if someone could confirm and tell me about it. I have shot the coin with different light positions to help. There is no back to the coin, but I have a photo anyway. Spence Moderator United States 34430 Posts	Posted 01/13/2017 05:37 am @Lembafc, attribution of this coin is a little outside my comfort zone, but if this is really from the 11th Century AD, then I suggest that you ask the mods to move this thread over to the ancient/medieval section. There are a couple folks who frequent that region of CCF who may be able to shed some light on your coin.
