I have been trying research this coin and find references in World Coins, Numismaster, and NGC for an 1860 Bolivia Sol with "period separating denomination" and it simply states RARE. I believe this is such a coin but I can not find any other references about rarity or value. Looking for help from the World Coin experts. Is this the real deal?

The folks that can best evaluate this are going to need the diameter and weight of your coin.

Isn't this dated 1860, hence not the 1869 coin that you are looking for?

No, I checked NGC myself and it does say "rare" for the respective variety of the 1860 date.

The 1869 in the OP is probably a typo (and in fact by 1869 Bolivia was already using a different currency).

Sorry, I corrected original post... it is a 1860.
