Poll Question
Sometime soon, I plan to do my first CRH of 2017. Keep in mind I cannot or get more than 5 rolls at a time (out of guilt). I'd also rather not bike home with 5 rolls of quarters.

If you're doing a few rolls at a time, which is how I started out, pennies give at least a quantity advantage over nickels, cost less and have quite a few more varieties, known errors and key dates.

I always think pennies is the better choice. But I guess I should be calling them small cents.  |

Nickels... best ROI.

Just did the hunt. Pennies was my choice, and it was an average hunt. 2 wheats, nothing much else.

I started 2017 with 10 rolls of halfs and 18 rolls of nickles. I got very lucky... 60 40%ers in the halfs and 14 war nickles...

The last time I hunted Nickels I was pulling about 60% 1938 to 1958 .  |
