As part of a large purchase of foreign coins I picked up what purports to be an uncirculated roll of 1967 cents. It is taped, and the roll is from the Canadian imperial bank of commerce in Montreal. The cents on each end are toned, but have some luster. Does this have any value?

Depends on the condition of the coins. 1967 centennial cents are not too rare, you can easily find them in regular penny rolls. I have a large bag full of them from penny roll hunting back when Canada still used pennies.

Not sure it has any crazy value but might carry the slightest of premiums as being a roll of BU 1967 cents.

That sounds neat, and yes it sounds like it has some value. I personally like those, and not many original rolls should be left!

I was at my local coin store and they were cutting 67 pennies out of mint sets (at least a rolls worth) ...so I'm guessing they are a lot of these coins and nickels floating around at least north of the 49th

If you open it look for doubling in the date and legend.

More importantly, there is a doubled die on the obverse with that year, and those are quite scarce. Look for the split serifs on the E and G of REGINA.

Also lots of clipped planchets, also possible that there are rotations.
