At the end of our street lives a retired Navy veteran. I asked him questions here and there about dates over a short period of time. This Remembrance day my family stopped in to say hi. My son presented the man with a coin set we made up. I got a plastic pre 1996 holder. Penny and nickel of his birth year, Nickel dollar of the year he joined the navy, 2010 anniversary of the Navy loonie in the 50¢ hole, dime of the year he retired and nice red large poppy quarter.
He thought it was the greatest thing.
Last week he stopped in to give me this set. He said he had it kicking around forever but he isn't a collector and the set we gave him is much more meaningful to him.

Do you have a photo of the set you gave him?
