Help With Lamination Errors. - Coin Community Forum

I found this nickel today, but I am not really sure if its a lamination problem. The other coin I found in a penny roll toady and just wanted to share it with everyone. I thought it was cool! Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 01/20/2017 8:35 pm I'm not seeing anything unusual with the nickel, a long scratch in front of face on a well circulated coin is all. Might point out what you question on the nickel. Looks like a nice start on contemporary foreign coin collecting! I don't see any lamination problem with the nickel. Moxking was quite correct - I had to look up Feldspar "silk-matte quality that feels like watercut stone to the touch". It's good to expand my vocabulary :) However, from its appearance it would seem rough to the touch. A lamination would represent the same thing - rough surface and sometimes parts of the laminations are peeling away or gone all together. Report this Post to the Staff
