I think it looks doubled due to the angle in which the picture is being taken. I often times use my phone zoomed all the way in to see the details on coins and jumped for joy over what I thought to be a double die. Once I change the angle of view or directly over top in goes away and I get bummed. I think it's just the reflection. I also have a 86' quarter with what looks like a deep punch with raised edges, which with my newcomer eye thought was something and turns out it was nothing. But I am by no means the person to ask it's just MO looking at the pictures.
