This is another coin that I have an opportunity to purchase. Thoughts on grade and fair market value? Thanks in advance.

The large images might be throwing you off because it looks genuine. The dark toning borders on environmental damage but it likely would grade without problems. Say VF35 to be conservative and figure a seller would ask $150 which would be fair market retail IMO.

Solid no problem EF-40. Not a thing to possibly detail it. Purchased raw I'd be happy at the $170-190 range, but it will probably sell for less on ebay, if it's there, because the dark peripheral toning scares many buyers unfamiliar with this series.

XF-40. I'd suggest acquiring it up if the price is within reason. Capped Bust Dimes are rarely seen with this nice eye appeal.

This nice dime was in a PCGS tomb. Wholesale was about $210 and Retail was $275. Sold for $260. I liked it at $200. Went over my top bid.

If you're patient you can find an equally good (or better) XF40 for ~$200.
