Hi there!

I am wondering how much 2004 Large Head 20 Cents coin is scarce.

Because, whenever I am doing the noodling, I got some.
I heard its mintage is only about 400,000.

It's so low mintage.

What do you guys think?

Although a low mintage the 2004 large head 20c and 50c coins are readily available in very high grades as these were issued in Mint sets, Baby sets as business strike coins and the Wedding set coins which are a specimen strike coins.
If you look at PCGS pop reports for the small head 2004 20c and 50c coins you will se that they don't grade as high as the large head coins do.

Re: 2004 Large Head 20c and 50c with the 4 pointed " A's " eg. A ustr A li A and Eliz A beth on the obverse. If you found the 20c LH in change they'd be well circulated, so not much good or value. The 400,000 mintage figure for the 20c LH is only a very rough guestimate, at best. It's highly unlikely you'll ever find a 50c LH in change.

There were only 67,795 UNC mint sets minted by the RAM in 2004. and most, if not all, have the 2004 20c LH in the sets. As for the 50c LH with the 4 pointed "A's", only about 30,000 of the 2004 mint sets have them, making the 2004 50c LH an extremely low mintage. The 2004 UNC Baby sets have a much higher quality 20c and 50c LH with the 4 "A's" in them.

As trout1105 said, the 2004 Wedding sets, which have a very low mintage of only 3963 sets, have the 20c and 50c LH with the 4 pointed "A's" in them that are true Specimen coins with a brilliant satin like finish. Fabulous pure rare coins.
