The 2nd Pysanka coin is pretty ugly. At least to me, others may disagree.

Last years coin was much better looking, It had a traditional design while this year's design is more contemporary. The coin is dissected by lines much like a pizza. Within each wedge, there is a design - like a wheat chaff. The predominate colour is black.

Thank you, MoneyPenney for update

Looks like the Pysanka will be most spoken, leaving others in the shadow. GITD might have not bad picture.

The new GITD coins are very high mintage. One was 15,000.

The Pysanka coin is the best bet with low mintage of 5000.

Yes, agree, 15K mintage nowdays is too high.
Unless it affordable CAD 30 and under coin.

Thanks to the members on other site.
They've posted a picture of Pysanka coin.
Pizza
The ornaments are more or less ok (but agree, 1-st coin was better), but no needed to replicate each ornament by mirroring it.

Confirmed on the other forum:

Pysanka-2 increases the "RPMs"
Few pre-sales on ebay around CAD 170-180.
People trying to assure the acquisition by pre-ordering it at multiple Canada Post locations.
Coin is potentially to be hot, at least due to initial hype.
Time will tell....

Regarding the pre-sales listings:
Sellers (probably following the first listing) had to give "Free Shipping" - this is to be "in game" and assure smooth start, after which they can try to increase the prices.

Anyone that still thinks there is such a thing as a "hot" coin is in for a surprise.

Some coins, while not "hot", but popular atleast for short term.

As example one of them - "2016 Library Silver Dollar".
Collectors still welcome it, but people already not ready to pay over CAD 300 for it - this still leaves some "room" for re-sellers.

Btw, interesting development with Pysanka coin, reported, that according one PO branch - the Canada Post is "out of stock"
Still on the level of the rumors though....

So true.

So many flippers jumping on it how can it appreciate in price? Sure, some pre-sales on ebay are in the $170 range but what if there are dozens of listings? The people that sell early will make some money but eventually the price will slip with more and more sellers.

Don't forget, increase of 1000 mintage will hurt sales.

Looks like people didn't gather a thing in the "PO cruise"
well...that's adds to the pre-release hype.
Beside this, interesting move on the other forum, where the coin offered for the other member for issue. Is it really popular enough?

Interesting to see the race to the bottom as dealers keep lowering the prices of the Pysanka #2,

Our friends, Mario95 and Coins4fun, are having a dueling price war with price adjustments several times a day.

Mario95 selling for $166.92
Coins4fun - $167.93

I have a feeling this will not turn out well. I'll just buy a couple to have fun with but the new coins won't even come close to the 2x, 3x we see for the 1st coin.

This is sad.
Trey aren't first time flippers, jump out from nowhere, but the dealers (i think)
Better to cooperate

Guys, who must to have the latest "assumingly hot" NCLT from the Mint?

It happened - many people got the mail from their Reps, that the 2017 Pysanka [egg-shaped, painted] coin is available for order (via Rep). 2 coins limit per household, and according all the reports - the reps allocations depleting quickly.

Added:
Looking I am on the image of the coin, and thinking, that the designer may use his skills for fence-painting...the segmentation he does well.

Did not get any advance ordering email notice and I am Platinum Plus. How about others with reps? Did you get your advance notice yet.
