Very-Strange-Penny-Located

need to know if this is a "mistake" coin or not. . .the "N & E" from the word ONE appear to never have been stuck when minted.

Doesn't seem like the missing letters are errors. The letters may have rubbed off over the course of time. I have a 1862 Half Penny in similar condition.

I love those Pennies. I carry one in my wallet, for scratch-off tickets and luck.
