Interesting. Looks like ebay revoked all of the listings, which right now is preventing me from opening a case for the item. Hopefully we'll be getting our money back in the morning, otherwise we get to have a chat with paypal/eBay customer service. |

Yep, my purchase listing is not found anymore. Also, the PayPal payment that was complete is now pending to a one Xin Decheng. Truth be told, I would rather have a D90 or D200. Problem solved!  In Memory of Crazyb0 12-26-1951 to 7-27-2020

I wasn't able to get this posted yesterday and can't re-research it today as all the listings are now gone, but. I found 10 listing all in a row if you chose "price plus shipping lowest first" yesterday for $30.65 & 30.98 US at 4:30pm. Three sellers in three different states. None of the sellers had selling feedback, one hadn't used ebay in over a year. The spelling of bundle as bun, bundl, bundpp and two others (can't remember which) made the listngs even more suspect. If it looks like a scam, walks like a scam, quacks like a scam... Hopefully your money is refunded quickly. Wonder if the thief got to keep any of the ill gotten gain? Ten listings times 100 sales each would be $30,000. Only one of the listings I saw had 109 sales, the others had only a few sales. ebay and paypal will never tell us what the outcome of this scam was. But having had my email harvested off of ebay years back and one potential scammer trying to access my Paypal acct via a bogus http://www.paypall.com link, I'd advice all of you who bought cameras change your eBay/Paypal passwords. If linked to your checking acct, contact your bank. If linked to a credit card, contact them. An ounce of prevention... |

 I use PayPal exclusively on ebay and any other site that offers the option (only when the balance is there and not drawing from a bank account). Even though they're "separate" entities now, I don't see any difference in the results. If I were to trust any party in this what I now call an expirement, it would be PayPal. ebay's not too shabby, either. So, I contacted PayPal before I last posted here and just received a response. This is the most important part of it: Quote:
"I carefully checked the account and see that the transaction is unclaimed. This transaction will automatically bounce on your account by February 27,2017.

I called PayPal yesterday and the very nice representative refunded my money back to my account. It had been "pending" and she had a note that this transaction was on-hold by ebay due to a problem with the account.
