Well I've got a lot of silver Hungary coins. Pengos, Koronas and Forints.

This 1935 2 Pengo interests me because I can't find out much information on its rarity. I've tried to get the best photos of it I could using my Samsung Galaxy S6, but its in really good condition, EF at least? Hopefully the photos show it well enough. It's hard to capture the detail on the hair but it doesn't look to have lost any of the original detail at all. Is it better than XF40?

If you go here, https://www.NGCcoin.com/price-guide...6-duid-82378

You can see that only 50,000 were apparently minted, and I can't find any for sale anywhere to get an idea of price. Coin quest also lists 1935 as a rare date.

I'm just wondering what kind of grade this coin is, so I can assess its value as well, what I really want to know is, is it really worth a lot, or not so much. What do you all think? :)

I see nothing that indicates it's rare.
My catalog lists it as under $15.
Even the proof variety is under $25.

And the dull, even toning suggests to me that it's been dipped.
If so then it's value is reduced.

The original 1935 2 Pengo, not a restrike? I've found in a number of times catalogued over $100, but perhaps you are right and it isn't such a rare date.

As for grading, the pictures I took really arn't doing it justice. I'm going to try again, because in those photos it looks like some of the hair has faded away, none of the detail in any strands of hair is faded, its all there. Going to try and capture it now for a more accurate grading.
Rest in Peace

There are plenty of these on ebay. Range for buy-it-now in similar condition $15-30. Range in sold prices (including postage) $12.70 to $25.

Okay thanks. This has made me realise that I need a new camera set up, because these photos are making the coin look in worse condition than it is!
Rest in Peace

Photos almost always bring out the worst in coins, not just yours.
