Hi Friends, I'm new to the community. Today I received this a 1972 D Kennedy half dollar from the bank and noticed it does not have the designer's initials. I have read of its rarity and wondered if any of you may have perspectives on its worth.

Can you post a close up of the affected area? I think I see the top outline of the G. This looks to me like it might be a greased die, and not the true no FG where the initials were removed from the die by an overzealous polishing.

A better approximation of value is ebay.
Rest in Peace

Really can't tell from that shot. As suggested, a close up of the area where the FG should be will help us answer.
