I have a different post all about Silver Bullion BU. Since this is about a proof series I finally finished, I figured I would make a separate post. Since I finally finished, I snapped lots of pictures and (sadly) am sending them to safekeeping. The only question is whether I can wait until 2018 when I get next year's release to bring them home and enjoy them again. I will have the empty case holder to remind me, lol. The Rwanda Proof Series is limited to 1000 proof pieces each year. Each year there is a cheap little COA that comes with them-- except 2008. There was no 2008 COA. So here are 10 pieces to represent 2008-2017. I need to buy all new 40mm airtite capsules, as some of these have seen some wear.

Nice collection and congratulations on a fine set.
I just wished they hadn't used three fourths of the obverse design with the African continent, instead of larger images of the wildlife.

Beautiful crazyglue!
I have the set in the BU version but I made a bad mistake with a couple of the early versions.
I was concerned that the wrapper the mint used for the BU ones might not be good for the coin so I took them out and put them in air tites.
Seems like OGP is the only desired method to own the BU ones since they did not come with COA's. Live and learn I guess. Expensive mistake on my part as I am going to have to re buy them OGP one of these days.

I am so sorry to hear that Debrajc. But don't beat yourself up over that. I have heard a lot of concerns over the blister packs and whether they have pvc and were damaging the coins also.
But is not exactly like they are worthless out of the blister pack. So you did not lose it all.
I have 2009-2017 in blister pack. I am only missing the 2008 in blister pack.
I do have a 2008 regular bu, not in the blister pack, so I know your pain on that. I have considered selling it to fund a significant portion of the same coin in blister pack. I struggle with that though, as it is just plastic. I could send the raw 2008 off to be certified and likely it will then be as valuable as the blister pack, though I do not have enough past sales reference to be certain of that.

Beautiful Beautiful just beautiful.
I have some of these in BU and Proof and I want to congratulate you on your set here.
How have they been holding up, especially the proof, any milk spots? Toning?
I need to get my Hippos next. I did not buy all years tho, just bought the animals I like.
Did you see they sell the individual boxes from the Rwanda seal on it?

Too bad the ones that look the best are the harder to find/more expensive first few years ones. I need one of them for my world bullion set just gotta figure out which one I like that isn't exorbitantly priced. Congrats on the awesome set!

@Mister
yea like the elephant! I do have a BU that I won at an auction but it has since developed like a small round gray circle, not a spot tho.

Thanks Yup7676, I appreciate it.
I have the complete set in BU in airtites also. It was fun to try to find them over time.
I am working on the having the full set in the original blister pack, but that darn 2008 is so elusive at a regular price.

Congrats. That is a beautiful set. Those proof issues are really striking. I really like those and the somalian elephants. Along with some of the Perth issues, there are some really gorgeous world silver being minted.

they are a unique set, I would buy a whole sheet of any of the animals, I like that series so much.
problem is, they do get spots, either milk spots or like brown ring spots on them :/
love the elephant and hippo coin, my favorites thus far.

Both the proof set and the NGC set are amazing! I haven't even finished my MS set on account of the prices of the earlier issues.
