I noticed this coin an unusual mark above and right of the ear. Is this a possible error, or did someone stamp/engrave this on this coin? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Peele

This looks more like bag marks from another reeded edge coin.

I included a better image to show the relative size of this unusual mark as it appears too large to be Reed Marks. My first image was large enough to see any detail.

I'm looking at the reeded edges and can see that they may be a source; but, it is unique in that it almost looks engraved. Thanks for the input. I'm still a novice and enjoy seeing what more experienced eyes can teach me.
Rest in Peace

It doesn't look like railroad tracks to me, which is the term sometimes used for reed indentation. Too unequal.

I think graffiti is the best guess.

Is the 55 raised or indented?
