Got this coin through an auction cause the price was right and I loved the look. When up close has that Bugs Bunny look to it. I am most likely wrong but it would be cool if I am right.

Thanks to all the members in advance for looking!

Wen I was growing up, this variety was exclusively associated with 1955 examples, but I believe they are now recognized for other years as well.

I agree Coinfrog as most examples I find are of the 55 variety.

Yes, 55 is more common but I've seen 54's also. I think it's designated as FS-401

Here's a link to PCGS coin facts for the '54 Bugs.http://www.PCGScoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/147871

NGC didn't have it listed as a recognized variety.

Is it worth getting the attribution changed to add the variety? I won the coin for $36 bucks.

I don't know how much PCGS grading would cost but I see that they are sold PCGS graded 64 for around 100$ give or take. I'm like Barry from Storage Wars and would spend the money just to have it designated as a variety and then keep it!

Depends on what you're going to do with it. If I was going to keep it, I probably would. If I was going to sell it for profit, probably not. Nice coin, it's definitely raised.
