Thad,

This is actually the second one that I have. I bought a graded 40 a few years ago. I am going to keep the new one and sell the graded. The 40 is graded by ANACS (I think) and is problem free. If I can get my money back or close then I will be good. I also found a replacement for my old 31-S. So I will unload my old ugly 31-S as well. Still Lookin.

I was not actually from a bank. But it was in a mixed bag.

I'm confused, what is a mixed bag? and where do you get a mixed bag? Inquiring minds want to know

Thad,

You know that we have never met, but we were both at the second 2009 penny release and you were couple of people in line ahead of me. I heard you speaking to someone else and you told them your name. I should have come in to speak to you at that time and did not. Still Lookin

Sorry. I guess it is a good question but I will keep my sources hidden. If you had a source would post it on the internet?

I don't think anyone is asking for an address or phone number. We're not trying to poach your source. We're just interested where you're finding them, and a general vague response would satisfy our curiosity: coin dealer, scrap metal dealer, grandma's penny jar. And I promise not to raid your grandmother's cent hoard if that is your source.

I'd immediately send this in to PCGS for grading and authenticity asap. Amazing once in a lifetime find if it is genuine.
