Ahhh, riiiiight! Just come across an MS-60+ 1909SVDB...Do YOU think its real? A "raw" one at that, as my dad always said, "pull the other one!". Just look close at beard, ear and lips! Sheesh!! Most assuredly fake and poor one at that...should be marked "COPY". BTW, is it cent size?

Yes it is the actual size of a real cent. Not pulling anyone's leg. Just picked it up today for face value. Still Lookin

Crazyb0 Call me crazy, but I don't see an obvious fake here. I am not saying with certainty that it is genuine, but...

In fact it appears to be struck from the die with mint mark position 4. The coin has some luster with sharp details. There are no casting marks and the color and surfaces resemble genuine examples. A closer look at the mintmark and Brenner's signature on the reverse will help further your authentication efforts here.

I snipped a photo from a genuine example on PCGS Coinfacts. Has the same die scratches.

That is the same photo that I was looking at on the PCGS Counterfeit vs. Authentic 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cents page. Kind of looks like a match to me. Still Lookin

Whoa....just found? That's not a coin you "just find". Appears to be around MS-64RD and authentic. NICE COIN!

I actually got mixed coins at face value and it was in there for 1 cent. There are several red wheat cents in there. I have not really even searched them yet. It is going to be interesting to see what else falls out. I just happened to see the portrait on this cent and thought it look like an old portrait. It was wetting heads up with 1909 and an S. I slowly turned it over and was completely shocked. Still Lookin

I was not actually from a bank. But it was in a mixed bag.

Still lookin, I apologize, it seems like you hit the mother load. You said a mixed bag, keep talking! If that's where the 32D Washington came from, then you must a snagged a safe deposit box find, those are too good to be true! All of us here have hoped for a find like that. Again sorry, I be crazyb0, gotta live up to it. WOW!
