Large cents seem to abound in the US in foreign bins for 10-50 cents a piece. What are typical values for average coins and at these prices are they worth buying?

Large cents are worth in the 20-1000's of dollars range depending on grade and date. If you see any for 10-50 cents I would definitely pick them up. I wish I had such luck finding them for that price.

I have to revise my last post. Large US cents are worth the above values. But English pennies are also worth much more then 10-50 cents especially early 1900's so I would defiantly pick them up. Plenty of people collect them and they seem to be popular on sites like ebay.

I can get them for 5/$1 at my local shop. Any dates I should keep an eye out for?
