I have this coronation Commemorative spoon with coin that reads "George and Elizebeth crowning" It appears to be gold, but I have found nothing on the web about it? Could someone here tell me something about it please? like whats it worth?
Your coin isn't really a "coin", in the sense of officially issued by the government for use as money. It resembles the small coronation medals issued in 1937 and sold here in Australia as souvenirs, or given away to schoolchildren.
It's not likely to be solid gold, but gilt or gold-plated.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
