So I was looking through my drawer at work today and found this. Is the rim doubled on the left side? It appears to be doubled and thicker on the left than on the right.

I am a newbie here, so don't put too much stock...
Looks to me like an off center strike.
The off center has made the one side of the coin more prominent.

This is all my opinion!
I have been collecting for a very long time,
but have left the academics to others until now!

Is the reverse well-centered? If so, it's a misaligned die error. It's sort of common, but yours is a little more off-center than usual.
