I was curios to know if anybody knows of any reliable, reasonable online coin dealers out there?

I'm asking because the selection, and competitive pricing on the Internet, is vastly greater than most coin shops.

I found one that I have bought some supplies from, and they are pretty reasonable, but I have not purchased any coin's from them yet.
It's called Jake's marketplace

http://www.jakesmp.com

Anybody have any experience, or opinion's of this dealer?

With all the talk of counterfeiting, and scam artist's, I trying not to get burned.

Thanks,
Walker4

I can recommend a few good ones for Canadian coins, but that might not be what you collect.
For US coins, I've heard good thing about Harlan J. Berk.

Besides ebay the only online supplier I've dealt with is https://www.libertycoins.com

They primarily deal in high end coins that are in the $200+ range. Their service and quality is spectacular, and you can find coins for right about fair market value.

I've been looking for a good online source for low-mid range coins but they all seem to suck. They're either really overpriced, overgraded or both.

That's funny you picked that 1909, that was the one coin that really turned me off to. However, I am still relatively new to this, and wanted to get a second opinion. In there defense, I have ordered some coin tubes, and supplies thru them, and I think they were reasonably priced. Their coins....i don't know.

if anyone buys that they should be slapped

I would think that you're best bet would be to find a eBayer and get to know him (ie buy a couple cheap coins and examine grades, picture accuracy and shipping costs) and then buy a more expensive coin. There is even one guy I've gone through enough now that I have actually emailed him and asked if he had any of the particular coin I was seeking (a 1883 WC V nickel I think it was). He didnt have one, but about a week later emailed me and told me he could get one but it was, in his opinion, probably more money than it was worth. It was lol--I thanked him regardless and hes now on the look out for some other coins I'm searching for.

Absolutely outstanding people. If you call they will usually work with you on prices for multiple coin purchases, but their prices can be a little high on some things.

I've bought several from grcoins.com with no problems... if anything the circulated examples I've received have been undergraded.
