I think I've seen this referred to colloquially as "railroad rim." Here's the first link google spits out for that query. (052) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed .com/partial_collar_strikes.html You can compare and see if this is what you've got.

Not a railroad rim, just a very well struck dime. (A railroad rim coin is a partial collar and actually shows on the EDGE of the coin not the rim.)

Oops. I'm not familiar with the terminology. I thought I saw reeding on the rim described as railroad rim somewhere. Although, now that I think of it, I'm not sure how a reeding imprint would get on the top of the rim.

That would be called a collar clash, caused by a die colliding with the edge of the collar
