Just curious to what everyone thinks.

Should I strictly buy NGC and PCGS or would it be worth it to buy ANACS and IGC. Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? I just want to make sure the coins that I purchase are 100% genuine.

Thanks

I assume your referring to Canadian Coins as this is
the Canadian Coin Forum so I suggest ICCS who grades
most of our coins.

I would avoid IGC. The rest that were mentioned are good.

I wouldn't get caught up in any particular brand. Ignore the label and concentrate on what is inside the plastic.
There is nothing that a TPG can tell you that you can't determine for yourself.

Take the extra money that a couple certs would cost you and put it into learning how to grade yourself .. seminars, workshops, etc. Find a couple of the grading sites and start studying. Use the TPG money that you would spend on them to invest in good coins and buy the coin, not the holder.
