Found this in a penny roll 1977 D . on the reverse the E in cents is missing and the D in united and S in states are missing, they are all there but very faint and the memorial has missing parts as well kid of in a line between the missing letters runs from about five o'clock up through the memorial to eleven o'clock , the rim is intact . Obverse is normal . Greaser ,grinder ,deteriorated die or just plain wear

A "greeeezer", too much material other areas to be normal/mechanical wear. I guess I don't check the reverses enough, haven't seen many like that, have a bunch of obverses from 1950's on.
