Picked up this coin recently and planning to hold on to it. I was wondering is this AU+ material in the crowns? It was labelled a lower grade when I picked it up. Note its in a 2x2 and there is some lines running across from the plastic.

Lovely tone with a few peeks of luster beneath.

British collectors would give this no better than an EF-40, or at best an EF-45.

US collectors would probably call this a AU-50.

It's a nice original coin and I like it.

Thanks moxking, I liked the tone/condition, reason I picked it up. Are these coins priced higher in Europe than North America?
