This one has a lot going on it is a 1990 penny it has some nice toning and was struck with a deteriorating die , it has cracks with a small chip and some ghost images around Lincoln and part of the column was polished away on the die . no premium I'm sure but I found it to be an interesting combo of things happening on one penny

That is one very busy coin! Are the colors in the pics fairly accurate? If so, it would be nice if it stayed that way.

It's a lucky thing it doesn't have the dreaded zinc rot.

Enjoy!

I think all those lines on the reverse are brush marks from when the die gets 'touched up' after a clash. I don't really know for sure.

Here's a thread on that: http://goccf.com/t/269458

Anyway, I'd keep it just because it's got so much going on -- even though none of it adds any value to the coin.

Thanks for the link buddy! it looks like a late stage die that was touched up and polished and it polished away some of the die on the pillars . It's already saved !
